Is it easier to love or to hate? Why?

@JovialPlutonian I agree. Actually, a more appropriate opposite is apathy. This question isn’t meant to imply the two are opposites, but thanks for your opinion.

@JovialPlutonian Again, thanks for your opinion. If my question said ‘is it easier for you to walk or run?’ it wouldn’t be implying that the two are opposites, because the opposite of both is to stand still. The opposite of both love and hate is apathy. Both love and hate are passionate.

@WanderingThrough no mate the opposing emotion to love is fear, you need to educate yourself. Apathy is detachment of feeling, passion is the opposite of apathy read your dictionary it's not my opinion.

@JovialPlutonian Fear is an emotion that is caused by the threat of danger or harm. The way I look at that, it’s not the opposite of love which is a strong feeling of affection. For the third time, I never implied love and hate were opposites. By all means, keep going, I love repeating myself for you.

@WanderingThrough it wasn't an answer to the question you asked it was a response to your statement. It would be more accurate to ask is it easier to love or to fear. You might as well say is it easier to have ginger hair or blue eyes. Anyway you obviously don't get it. It was never means for an arguement. Don't know why you have to be so petty.

@JovialPlutonian But my question wasn’t to compare opposites is what I’m trying to explain to you, my question was to compare two equally passionate emotions. I’m still not in agreement that fear is the best opposite for love anyway, but it’s fine for us to disagree on that. My point was and still is that I was not trying to compare things that are opposites. Hate and love are both really strong and really passionate emotions but I never meant to imply they are opposites.
