Why do you think most people fear the paranormal..like spirits and such?

@Quizzical Do you think that spirits and ghosts are just superstitions or the association of fear with them is the superstition?

@celine211 I think spirits and ghost do not exist and belong in the same category as pixies, goblins, the boogeyman, gods and devils.

People fear those things because they have been convinced at a young age that they exist and taught to be scared of them as a form of control.

I have no fear of that which does not exist as my parents and family never tried to convince me that those things DID.
