Country Life or City Life ??

I'm from a big city, born and raised with lots of people, lots of lights, and lots of life. Been living in a small town, a very small town for a year and the only light is a speck from a house a few miles away. lol

Rural life for me! I have lived in many cities. Instead of a concrete forest of glass and steel I live in a real forest. Instead of a man-made lake I have a real lake in my backyard. Instead of recycled drug and feces water to drink and bathe in I have artesian well water. Instead of street lights I have the stars. Instead of commute traffic I have deer running down the road. No sirens, horns, helicopters, or Wi-Fi penetrating my body,just the wind passing through,and all of nature's creatures speaking. No crime where I live. No GMO foods! Greenhouse produced. No Hormone or steroid fed livestock, just the farm raised animals slaughtered at a neighbor's house down the road. Or, wild game that is plentiful. I prefer not to scavenge the kill of someone else at a supermarket. The cost of peace and quiet...only the desire to be HUMAN. The desire to be healthy. The desire to live in a community of people who actually go out of their way to speak to another human being. Children who know how to grow a tomato instead of the latest game. I would never return to any city anywhere. The price is too high.

@RenaissanceMan Wow ! What a wonderful response !
@ruesa104 The question deserved a proper answer. I was glad to give it. It would take a whole afternoon to explain the choice.

I could never lie in a city. I love small towns and rural living.🙂

I live in the countryside in a small Village. Life is a lot slower there until you head out on the main roads to join the city life

I'd love the country for the vac ,but city life is the lifeline, can't do without the hustle bustle. .

I'd love the country life style kids running wild instead of stuck on playstations
Do you like it or are you city-sick?

@Mamapolo2016 Hello Mama ! I do appreciate many of the things RenaissanceMan mentioned as well as all those answers in favor of the country life, but I do find myself missing the constant go of the city.
Move to a southwestern small city. There's much less get-up-and-go in our go.@ruesa104
