I'm so glad my mum got an abortion

I was in first grade when she had it, didn't really understand anything when she did, but she was crying. I always assumed that they "killed" my baby sibling. And then I grew up, got educated, became aware and realized that that was one of the best decisions she'd ever made.

She could barely support herself and me at some points in our life, if she'd had another child, idk how we would've managed. The child would've struggled, my mum would've struggled and I would've struggled too. Neither the child nor I would have access to the education and opportunities I have rn, my mum would've had to take loans and work more jobs and life would've been more of a hell than it already is.

Besides, our household isn't one where a child could be raised without giving them any lifelong scars, the child would've undergone the same physical and mental abuse I did . And I'm really glad that didn't end up happening. 🤗

Boy it seems that your mother was nothing but a cold blooded murderer.

@MarmeeMarch yeah, maybe she should've given the child to you to raise 🤷
@Azrael Abortion for convenience - how nice - ever heard of orphanages ?
Azrael ·
@MarmeeMarch orphanages suck where I'm from, children barely get adopted and they get abused and exploited most of the time
@Azrael yea, OK
Azrael ·
@MarmeeMarch I'm sure you would've adopted someone's child if they were to give birth and not be able to support it right?😂
@Azrael Noooooo , but there are people that would. Lots of ppl would love the chance to have a kid when they cant have one on their own. I normally support pro choice but to thin out the herd it just wrong.

@MarmeeMarch and what about those 9 months? Surely, you would've given us money to survive on while keeping my mum healthy enough to deliver a healthy baby lmao abortion is always better than just giving up a child am dwondering wtf happened to them or delivering an unhealthy child/ bringing a child into bad circumstances.

Thinning the herd? The world is overpopulated as it is, no herd is getting thinned xD
@Azrael I dont know where you are from but in the US - we have programs that support moms to be with FREE medical
Azrael ·
@MarmeeMarch Not here lol the society's very different and even in the US I would've supported the abortion 😛
@Azrael sure - ok then

@Azrael The foster care system is far, far from perfect. Some people do not even know that. They just think "Awwww, you're trying to provide for a child who has no parents! So awesome!"... but, there is much to be desired within the foster care system that these fluffy bunnies do not know about
Azrael ·
@Phire1 I know the US foster Care system isn't perfect, I hear bad childhood experiences about it from some people in the US and that's one of the reasons why I would've supported the abortion even if we were in the US :)

@Azrael I didn't realize you don't live in the U.S.
Azrael ·
@Phire1 I don't, I'm from India 😊

@Azrael I honestly cannot say I have studied about India's abortion aspects, foster care system, and ...well... a lot else
Azrael ·
@Phire1 it's alright, I live here so I know xD
Phire1 · 51-55, F
@Azrael LoL - yeah, you would know more than I would since you live there
Azrael ·
@Phire1 it's better now but there wasn't even a foster care system in place at the time my mum had the abortion xD

@Azrael That is something I think is astonishing
Azrael ·
@Phire1 india is still a developing country, we're trying to make it better :v
