Is it cheaper to build/repair a motorcycle than it is to buy one?

No it'll cost more. You don't really know what your buying and you don't know what else is wrong with it till you taken it all apart to put back together.

Could cost you double in the long run and your life if it isn't done right 😬

@Teggy This is one of those "If you have to ask..." sort of things. And yeah, the risk is very real.

The whole "if you do it yourself you'll know it was done right" principle applies when you're wrenching on bikes, but you have to know how to do it right.
