@SW-User I think a lot of it comes down to the fact I constantly dissect people's mannerisms and diction for the purpose of applying it to characters in my writing. 😅

What about those who mastered the deceptions and can really play different people well, until they choose to show you the convergence?

@SW-User I have yet to come across someone who doesn't at least have [i]some[/i] cues that something is up, though they may be subtle enough to go unnoticed or be dismissed as imagination at first. My people reading skills have been pretty consistently on point since my late teen years, though I sometimes give people too much benefit of the doubt and it ends up biting me.

@UndeadPrivateer Yes. I am the same. Write off the smaller things as coincidences and the whole benefit of doubt is a huge pain in the arse.

@SW-User I've been trying to get better about that, it's caused me no end of problems in the past.
