Yes. I think a lot of "responsible" people put off looking after themselves in favour of doing their duty to others.

Sadly many people do not realise they have the answers, but lack self belief

I guess I'm lucky to learn it at this age

I need to keep reminding myself of this...because I was led to believe that demanding better was somehow the thing that was wrong with me. When what was wrong, was that I was demanding it from someone who was incapable of giving me better.
