i need to talk about something

my friend drugged and raped me a year ago and i asked my therapist to help me press charges and i took a bunch of tests and they said there's no more evidence in my body to physically prove it happened since it was a year ago. it makes me angry because i feel hopeless and i feel like i can't do shit about it

I'm sorry for you pain. unfortunately in the US (if that's where you are) they have the reasonable doubt doctrine.

if it boils down to he said/she said and there's no proof then he walks.

there would be no closure even if they cut of his offending member. you can't unrape someone.

all we can do is say we believe you and hope he gets what's coming to him one way or another.
