I wouldn't know. I don't delve into their personal lives. If the treatment isn't working for me, I find a new therapist.

Most? No. A surprisingly high percentage? Yeah. I'd agree with that. Therapists are different than psychologists or psychiatrists and I'd say most got in to the field because they get off on getting inside their own heads.

In my personal experience, I've found it to be somewhat true. I have known a handful of them personally. In many instances it has been a bit scary to know that they were giving out psychological advice to others.
