I feel like I don't matter most of the time. People care less if you hide your gender and age and don't post selfies much.

This website reminds me of our primary school ethics classes sometimes. Our teacher came up with a game where every student was supposed to anonymously write one positive and one negative things about every classmate on a piece of paper. Guess what I had in both columns most of the time. 😂
"I don't know her, I don't judge"
"She's quiet"
"I don't know her"
"She seems nice"
"She's okay"
"She's cool and likes great music" <- my friend
"I don't know her"
...

I'm bland like that. So what now... 🤷 You reap what you sow.

@CrazyMusicLover I get what you’re saying. Just to be “known” can take a lot of work here. The question is: is it worth it?

@Rokasu I guess it depends on how much time you are able and willing to invest into friendships. Both online and in real life. I am aware that I don't have a bigger capacity than just a few people at time so trying to get known with many people wouldn't be fair from me if I couldn't be able to give them as much attention as they wish to get from a friend.
