Do you live in your head too much?

I'm not sure about the mbti personality tests and I don't think they would make a good phycological tool , but gosh darn it I really empathise with most of the stuff it says about my type . The INFP one . Especially that I live in my head to much . What are my fellow INFP's up to ?

Overthinking all day, every day.

@clampsin I'm the same .Do you feel it has ever helped you or does it only hold you back? For me I think it's a bit of both

Yeah, it's a bit of both for me too. I think about a lot of stuff. Even the past and wondering about the future as well. Just a lot of things running in my mind. At least it helps me play real time strategy and simulation games well lol
Other times, it's thinking about the little things too. I really can't help it with the overthinking.

@clampsin hmm you're right about the strategy ,for me it has helped me mostly on processing stuff that hurt me in the past and realising , at least to an extent , where I was wrong . But other than that I'm afraid I may have let a lot of opportinuties pass through .

Some of that stuff that hurt me made me build up anger and hate before. Later on I got tired of holding on those two emotions for a long time. I admit my wrongs no matter what. Denying it only makes it worse for me. I don't want to go back on to it or else it'll isolate me again.
So much chances on passing them up. I think we should not let that happen anymore. I mean for me, I think I still want to do things. Despite of my overthinking.
