Do you agree with this?

@Reject i can understand that.. but not them just forgetting w/the snap of fingers? I don’t think that happens with real love. Walking away like it was nothing sounds like that’s all they felt- nothing..

@MellyMel22 It's not about forgetting. It's about appreciating someone for reasons other than what they could do for you. It's not walking away like it was nothing either. It's possible for someone to mean a lot to you, but you're still okay with them being gone. That happens when your love for them doesn't have anything to do with you. Sometimes, you're absolutely right and they don't care at all, but other times, they might just love selflessly.

@Reject I can respect your opinion, but I definitely disagree. If you love them and lose them and you’re not affected by it- it wasn’t real love.

@Reject Did you tell her you love her and leave her? And then not feel anything for her when you stopped talking?

@MellyMel22 No! Nothing like that. :) She was afraid of hurting me because of her reasons for why we can't be together. I told her it was okay because I love her for who she is and not what she does for me so I naturally put her feelings above mine. Since she wants me to be able to move on happily, I can. I know she wouldn't want me to feel bad.

@MellyMel22 Yes! Our love is different from most so not many people can understand it, but that's okay. No one else has to.
