Does the date format MM/DD/YYYY sometimes cause confusion?

Personally I prefer a standard Day/Month/Year format because if its Month/Day/Year then seeing a date like 11/10/2018 would have me thinking:

"Is that 11 October or 10 November?" 🤔

Also we need to use 24 hours system, ampm make me confuse. Also use metres instead of feet, kilometres instead of miles, kilograms instead of pounds

@YukikoAmagi In Italy we use metric system etc, but tbh the other doesn't bothers me a lot, maybe cause I see it often on the internet etc. I know an inch is 2,54 cm, a feet is about 31 cm etc.

By the way I'm not used to pounds (every time I must check it) and Farenheit instead of Celsius. Those two are annoying LOL.
@Sharky86 and use Italia instead of Italy 😎

@YukikoAmagi You're right. I don't know why I use it, cuz for example I prefer to use the actual names of the cities (romanized), but when it comes to countries I go for the English version...
Like about Ital...ia XD I say Milano, Napoli, Firenze, Roma etc, instead of Milan, Naples, Florence, Rome...
