Does anyone else have a huge distrust of insurance companies? 😖

@iMystery Haha, it's not even a view so much as it is the objective business model. That's how insurance companies turn a profit. Making sure the majority of their users at any point in time are paying into the insurance but not utilizing it.

@UndeadPrivateer Yeah and when they DO claim, they try to find every small reason NOT to pay out 😖

@iMystery Yep, gotta maximize those profits! It's gross and the primary reason I think the very concept of insurance companies is innately corrupt.

@UndeadPrivateer I believe everyone would be better of just savings all those insurance payments in a savings account and accessing it when needed 😩

@iMystery There's genuine benefits to the idea of cost-sharing, but I think that's something best utilized by [i]governments[/i] and not [i]corporations.[/i] Once you try to bring profit into cost-sharing the benefits fly out the window.
