Should i tell my supervisor that work makes me want to kill myself?

We have our weekly (actually happens more like every other month) supervision. We are supposed to discuss each case, what is working and what's not, and maybe even my yearly evaluation. Last time he cut me short because he scheduled me in his last hour before going on vacation for a week and a half. So lots of stuff has been pilling on. Also I keep getting pulled from my regular work to deal with "emergencies" half of which he creates.

Anyways there has been a huge push to catch up, but I can't because something else always comes up. On top of that, my depression and constant dread make it really hard for me to be 100% productive. Whenever I get overwhelmed I start having thoughts of hosting myself just enough for be put on medical leave. I, of course, don't have any plans to follow through, but I worry about them pushing me off the ledge

Perhaps you can ask him to respect your regular schedule, as you’ve got “things to do”(maybe you’ve got fake kids or some other excuse).

If talking to your boss about the stressful conditions/workload that you’re enduring isn’t an option,

Another option is to seek therapy and go on medical leave... it is paid for if regarded as ‘disability’.

Try taking some time to yourself. Mental health is much more important than work...

@SW-User I have been on leave before. My insurance only approves on a weekly basis. And last time i tries they said I'm not high risk enough
