Why Do I Care About People That Never Cared For Me?

It’s... difficult. It is my fault. I do allow people to get to close. Maybe it’s because deep down I don’t want to lose faith in humanity and still believe good people are out there... yet time and time again I’m proven wrong... people tell lies, people stab my back. No ones fault but mine. When will I learn?
