States and countries legalizing or willing to legalize 'marijuana' on public demand! What do you think about it?

I am against it completely!

This is true that one has the right to live life the way he/she wishes to!

This thought sounds good till the time, one's action does no harm to others and environment!

By legalizing 'marijuana' we might make our future generation become addicted to it!

Yes, it is all about one's will but most do not have the will to stay from the stuff they become addicted to!

This step can hamper the 'growth and development' of our future generations!

I am a single man but I care for the families who love their children and others in the family!

Upbringing does play a major role but curiosity overpowers every emotion!

One puff can ruin the life of someone who used to be wise and happy!

To all those, who see 'wonders' after being 'up in the smoke', please do not ruin the life of others with such intriguing expressions!

I know 'smokers' would not stop!

Nothing against those who smoke stuff but I do not like 'smokers' (referring to smokers who smoke weird stuff other than cigarette)!

Thought-process does differ from person to person!

I'm all for it. Many drugs (especially marijuana) has been demonized to the point of farce, but compared with many other things (e.g. alcohol) is much less of a health risk. We have lost many opportunities for improving people's lives from the good that the chemicals in marijuana can do in terms of pain management because it's been so lambasted.

Begin able to control the quality and potency of what's available by having it legalized seems like common sense to me, and the tax revenues will be good too.
