When people say " I need to find myself"... Do you ever find yourself?

I think that’s a bunch of malarkey to tell you the truth. Just be true to yourself, do your best at whatever you do, hang around people that encourage and support you emotionally, do no harm to others, work to make something of yourself, stay away from drugs and alcohol, help others, pray, be useful, take care of yourself and love yourself, don’t take any abuse, and there you have it. 😂

I did for a while. It was nice and I was happy, but then I let someone in and they took advantage of that. While I was trying to make things work with this person, I began to realize I was losing bits and pieces of myself along the way. It will take some time but I know I will once again be able to be my true self and open up without the fear of being judged and the feelings of worthlessness.

Every now and then you learn something new about yourself once challenged through life and it's like meeting someone new for the first time lol part of the growing up process.

It's the hardest thing to do. The longest distance one has to travel ever is from the head to the heart.

Oh, it's one of those 'deeply spiritual' sayings that people sometimes use when they ruined their own lives and everyone else 's lives who have been close to them.

They are really saying to the other person. "Get Lost."

What they mean is doing more for the self and less for others..some ppl really do get lost doing for others.
