What are your thoughts on depression?

Can it be "cured"?
Why does it get so bad?
How can one cope with it properly?

its something very complex, one of the biggest problems is that depression have been used to talk about things that arent depression, for example, i am a depressive person, i feel worthless and negative most days. but some people can fail a test and say "i am depressed" when that isnt the case.

the best way to help someone with depression, is just being with them and not let them feel like they got nothing or are nothing.
