Is my excessive sleeping pattern related to depression?

I'm not exactly the type of person who usually gets depressed. But lately, for about 2 months now, I've been sleeping a lot. Even after 8 hours of sleep, I still feel tired.

Though, I assume this is because of my current situation. My life has reached a really dark and lonely point. I feel so bored all the time, like nothing excites me. I feel like there's nothing to look forward to nowadays. Throughout my daily waking life, I don't particularly feel sad about anything. On the contrary, I feel rather empty and void of emotion. I think I sleep a lot to avoid confronting negative feelings.

Thoughts? Advice?

Thats is a type of depression . But try finding new stuff in your life. Like a new hobby or get a pet . Throw a party, just a I want to party kind of party that might brighten things up .
Can also be related to hormonal issue like thyroid. Brittle hair, feeling hot or cold, etc.
