Would You Let Someone Kill Themselves??...Even If You Knew That You Could Help Them??

I believe in personal autonomy. If an individual wants to die, I think they should have that right. That being said I also think it is not a decision to be made lightly, and people in a state of depression or other state that would cloud their judgement are not fit to make such a decision and should be prevented from doing so. Mostly I think it should only be undertaken by people with terminal illnesses, or cronic debilitating conditions that severly limit there quality of life. However, in theory I think anyone of sound mind should be free to comit suicide if they so choose.
