I don't believe in depression

I strongly believe that the happiness of others are also your happiness.. this will not let anyone alone be empty.. I agree that depression is a state of too much self centeredness, one constantly feels that others are inadequate of easing one's discomfort. When one is freed from the walls of their selfishness, no one will experience such state of mind.

Good luck with that. Try being layed off in a bad economy. Try being told that your spouse of ten years doesn't love you anymore and wants to move in with a coworker. Try being pregnant only to have the child die in the second trimester. Try coming home from overseas and when you get your dog realize that it has leukemia. Try sitting with your beautiful, wonderful, girlfriend as she's dying of ovarian cancer. Try playing a game of Scrabble with your mother as she is failing from altzheimers.... Yes some things are just sad, but some things are downright depressing.

@Tastyfrzz The common thoughts of "cannot let go" and "not accepting" and "trying to have what you can't" will lead you to extreme sadness
