I don't believe in depression

I strongly believe that the happiness of others are also your happiness.. this will not let anyone alone be empty.. I agree that depression is a state of too much self centeredness, one constantly feels that others are inadequate of easing one's discomfort. When one is freed from the walls of their selfishness, no one will experience such state of mind.

Depression is for people who live in the past well worrying about the future to much it's a curse on the human psyche
nedkelly · 61-69, M
@Rekcuf have you lost a child?
HerKing · 61-69, M
@Rekcuf Clearly you haven't had depression...I don't mean upset or having a bad day.

@Rekcuf which war did you serve in? Have you ever watched any friends/brothers die right in front of you? are you missing any arms or legs? do you have any scars from multiple surgeries? Do you suffer from daily chronic pain? etc. etc.

No? I didn't think so...

@nedkelly It is not all about losing a child
Rekcuf · 31-35, M
@HerKing Nor should they it be egotistical of me to think everyone is as callous as me but what I say is what I've observed from talking with people and living my own shitty experiences depression is a state of living in the past and future not enjoying the present
nedkelly · 61-69, M

@nedkelly My parents lost two children. I wouldn't call what they went through, depression. More like mourning and grief
Sepia · 36-40, F
@wildbill83 I had live in a place where terrorist attacks annually..I do..stop assuming I don't. I'd been through pain physically and emotionally but I don't want my life to revolve around it
Rekcuf · 31-35, M
@Sepia to move past your past and to move on is a concept many have trouble accomplishing. The bad thing being human is we have memories unlike animals who live to eat sleep and mate who forget all the unnecessary of the world us humans always remember and dwell on what could or couldn't. Always remembering we dont got a lot of time on this shit hole of a rock
