what do you think it is moral to lie about?

what to you think it is moral to lie about? my friend lies about being allergic to a certain food just because she does not like it, I dont like some types of food and I get harshly criticized for it from many people but I think it is better then lying. I think there are certain things where it is moral to lie about but its in very extreme situations.

I think that as long as your friend is not causing any harm with those lies then it's not really a problem. On the other hand if people catch her out telling lies then they will not trust other things she says.
On the third hand how many of us tell lies every day by habit or to avoid unnecessary questions ?
How many times has someone asked you if you are OK and you aswered that you were fine when in fact all was not fine ?
I'm not lecturing, just adding thoughts.
@Wraithorn I dont say im fine when I am not. of course then they ask whats wrong and I either say I do not want t go into it or I actually tell them whats wrong. my friends always used to do this to me and I hate it. I want them to tell me whats wrong or at least say that they do not want to tell me. so then do you consider it harm that people will trust her less? I just think lies tend to get out of control. But I see the temptation people have to lie, to say they did well or have a nice car.

@Girlyfriendcollecting I think that people trusting her less would be harmful to her because she will get less co-operation from people. It's not a crime to harm one's self though.
