Doubt it. Many wanted to move to Canada if Trump was elected. We're #1 in homelessness & incarceration.
Mamapolo2016F
@DarkCrazyArtistGeekGamer This is an excerpt from a CNN article about the threats to move to Canada, and how many followed through.
1,882 Americans have applied for permanent residency in Canada in 2017, just 66 more applications from the same time period in 2016.
Mamapolo2016F
@DarkCrazyArtistGeekGamer Regarding transplants between Canada and U.S.:
That's about 33,000 per year. By comparison about 9,000 Americans move to Canada each year, and the U.S. has nine times as many people
@Mamapolo2016 Yeah, I looked there already.

They could talk good about us they could talk bad about us but the rest of the world is always talking about us. And I couldn't find most of those places on the globe if I tried.. mostly because they're not important enough for me to care
ZorannaF
Depends where you live I guess. Americans seem to think so.
MarmeeMarchM
@Zoranna you mean middle aged white men - right , because we all know that the Americans of today just grew right out of the ground like corn.

We we're pretty good but when we had the chance to do better we blew it. Europe and Russia did too. We are behind in a lot of critical metrics. The only way we are going to get better is to throw out the GOP in the US government. They care about nothing except making themselves and their donors rich at everyone else's expense.
Mamapolo2016F
I agree we need to jettison wealthy cargo, but if you kid yourself it's only Republicans, think again.
According to a study conducted by the Center for Responsive Politics, financial disclosure forms reveal that out of the ten richest members of Congress, a whopping total of seven are Democrats.
from the Daily Wire.

As far as wealthy voters are concerned, it's now either neck-and-neck, or the Democrats have nudged out the Republicans.

It's not either of them. It's all of them.
the story is mixed where votes are concerned. Exit polls in recent presidential and congressional elections have shown that both parties receive substantial support from voters who make over $100,000 annually. And the stereotype falls apart when political contributions are examined: Democrats seem to come out ahead of Republicans in raising money from the richest precincts of the nation.
from capitalresearch.org

It's certainly a great country, no question. You have a lot to be proud of.

I think because it stands for so much, it attracts the greatest criticism also - high expectations tend to do that. But most Americans accept it with good grace. I can imagine it gets tiresome.
Mamapolo2016F
@Abstraction I think all citizens of the U. S. should be mandated to take a world tour before the age of 25. Get a sense of what else is out there, then come back and straighten up this house.

On behalf of my fellow citizens, thank you.

Ok then go ahead an think Haiti is! I鈥檒l take America!
Chaoshead22-25, M
@SW-User I think your misunderstanding my comment. My opinion is that America is the greatest country on earth. I just think most people on here disagree, so I labelled it unpopular.
SW-User
@Chaoshead yeah it is the greatest place ...
SwarmSonaF
Yeah as long as you aren't a faggot or don't sort by new
SW-User
I hope America survives. It has some good points.
MarmeeMarchM
@RemovedUsername650611 Thats because you could not have us back in the 1700s -- King Geo III was crying like little lord faunt leroy
MarmeeMarchM
