What do you believe is the purpose for human emotions?
I feel, funny, that emotions are survival instincts. All emotions are there to bring us together so we don't die alone and hungry.
A few examples would be:
fear-a deer in headlights. Doesn't sound to effective now a days but it's very difficult to see a deer when it's frozen in the woods. It hears a sound and freezes. Same with rabbits till you move too close. Tip-if you want to catch a baby rabbit out in the open move towards it veeeerrry slowly and it won't move till you literally touch it.
anger-being hungry can make us irritable and angry so we are more willing to fight for food.
compassion-so there's no fight for food and those who may feed us later will stay alive.
