I don't think an Artist would consider himself to have a 'Job'; likewise, I don't think an Artist would consider it's his / her career either. Those in careers tend to separate their work from their Social life whilst at the same time the same people might force what is their Career into a conversation in explaining who, and what, they are.

A vocation is a calling; not too unlike a career except we gain the greatest satisfaction and fulfilment from a vocation and time spent inside the inner workings of their chosen vocation. Those involved in vocational enterprises are less likely to boast about money itself, whilst saying they consider the deeper satisfaction is fulfilment, happiness and satisfaction. Money isn't a bad thing, but rather it's a bonus gained in following their vocation.

Who'd have a job if they could entertain a custom-made vocation?
