Did you ever dream about someone you only know online? Did you tell them?

@kimmy159 dreams are strange things and there are a lot of theories behind them. Some people believe it is our unconscious thought manifesting before us. Some people believe they are premonitions. I believe it is a little of both. I believe our minds are so powerful that we can discern things we never thought possible. It is likely that by talking to this guy you triggered things in you mind about him and the intricate workings of your brain connected others things like depression. Your mind played out a scene which you have been feeling all along.... this is just my belief.

I had a dream about Willow. I was speaking to her about some of her stuggles (some really difficult ones) and like yourself, I really wanted to help her and I was frustrated I couldn't just give her a hug. I knew we were only a 3 hour drive away from each other but it felt like miles. I went to sleep that night and dreamt I spent the day with her. We went to the beach, a little boardwalk fair, we sat and talked, and in the evening we sat and watched the stars. When I woke up, I remember hoping she felt that experience somehow... I never told her about the dream.

@Hikurai that's an interesting theory. My own is, that our minds often make up for the things we lack irl when it comes to our emotions. Or the things we want at that moment. Another reason is that it makes us figure out what the other person needs.

When I imagined myself being in a relationship with him, it wasn't actually because I "would like that", but because I know I could easily be the kind of person he needs in a relationship. I believe the right relationship can give a person so much self confidence. I don't know if that makes sense. It was like an attempt to comfort him in my mind, even though it could be nowhere near reality.

Yes, your theory makes a lot of sense too. I like the emotional factor to it as well (something I should have considered). This notion would fit for my dream about Willow. I felt so bad for her and felt even worse all I had was words to give her (I have felt this way for you as well). I think my mind created a way for me to cope with the fact I couldn't physically help a friend I cared about.

@kimmy159 I mess up this language pretty bad all the time... sad thing, it is the only language I speak. Even sadderest thing... I have a degree in Engrish.

@Hikurai Whoah you do? :0 Pff schools don't really teach you real English haha. According to school, my English is like 90% correct, but I don't think it's at such a level since I have to google the spelling of way too many words for that to be legit haha xD

@kimmy159 yes, I have a degree in English... but i still make tons of errors because I am not so uptight about it. Being good at spelling and grammar doesnt make you a decent storyteller. But it does help people understand your story. 😉
