@SW-User Haha, how tall are you?
SW-User
@Paloma 5'4"
Paloma · 26-30, F
@SW-User That's not so bad 😊
SW-User
@Paloma It feels like it when literally almost everyone looks down on you.
Paloma · 26-30, F
@SW-User Sorry :/ I guess that's true that it must not feel very good
SW-User
@Paloma I already feel pretty terribly about myself, and that just makes it worse.
Paloma · 26-30, F
@SW-User I'm sorry, I guess I was totally tactless just now :/ I'mma shut up after this, but seriously, your height doesn't define you
SW-User
@Paloma It's OK. And it may not define a person, but it certainly doesn't help other people's judgement of them.
Paloma · 26-30, F
@SW-User It's cute though 😋
SW-User
@Paloma I don't want to be cute, I'd prefer to be wanted.
Paloma · 26-30, F
@SW-User Why not both? 😶
SW-User
@Paloma Because in my experience, they are mutually exclusive.
SW-User
@SW-User Can be. I read you are 5'4, and it won't help you people tell you must be confident when they prescribe what a man needs to be in height. How to escape that paradox without any anger?
SW-User
@SW-User I have yet to find a way. All I know is that people tell me to be confident, yet then tell others that women like tall guys. So now I'm stuck in an endless, paradoxical loop where people's advice and their desires are in themselves a paradox.
SW-User
@SW-User Yep, even their words of friendship. Where they tell you to be more confident (I'm average but that's quickly become outdated as people growing taller) it's I'm not supposed to be single at 40, and that paradox (like I've done something wrong) other than falling in love and out of love.
SW-User
@SW-User At this point I just try to concede that it's not worth the effort trying, since nothing ever seems to change. But then when I express how hopeless I feel, I just get more useless, paradoxical advice.
SW-User
@SW-User Which I imagine mine is... I can't imagine SW giving you something different. If you want to meet a person in life then you have to … what is your strengths? And even if you can carry them here, in person can you?
SW-User
@SW-User I genuinely could not tell you what my strengths are that would attract anyone on first glance. Hell, upon seeing me in person, most (to the point where it's basically everyone) just immediately aren't interested.
SW-User
@SW-User Maybe it's just me, and this isn't talking about your strengths (as how can I know), you do promise an idea maybe there is more here than the eye sees, in a world where so many men have learned responses to woman.
SW-User
@SW-User What do you mean?
SW-User
@SW-User What do you value?
SW-User
@SW-User Reason, decency, fairness.
