Is Blocking Someone Over Making a Joke About A Sport Overreacting?

So, I made a joke about calling english 'futbol' 'soccer' and they said I was ignorant and blocked me. wut? 😕

You never know what will set someone off. I was once actually cursed out and blocked for saying: "No, I didn't watch Titanic---spoiler alert---the ship [b]still[/b] sinks."

I honestly thought everyone knew. 🙁
