How is it possible the Texas school shooter killed ten people? He didn't have a semiautomatic or an "assault weapon".

@YoungPoet345 yeah. Not just by students but also coaches (he smelled weird it seems)

@marcusaurelius Huh. Yeah, I feel like bullying is part of the problem for a lot of these former students that participate in school shootings. But also the access they have to guns. And at the same time, he shot ten people. He deserves to go to jail. Receive psychiatric treatment there. It's pretty hard to look past a crime like that.

@marcusaurelius Yeah, that sounds like he was deeply psychologically affected at that point and he was being creepy. In a psychotic/sociopathic way. What I wonder with this stuff is how much of it comes from the environmental factors of bullying and abuse, and how much of it is a medical thing triggered, like sociopathy. My guess is a mix of both. Not saying it's justified in anyway, it's not, but wondering about the cause. I'm interested because I think learning that could lead to some potential solutions. These things remind me of documentaries I've seen of serial killers. At the same time, those individuals did not have the aspect of bullying or being in schools playing in.
