Should I say something?

My coworker and I have formed a work friendship. We talk freely about different things. She’s 17 and I’m 22. So we talk about different high school issues since they pertain to her. The issues include cliques, etc. Anyway, she’s mentioned she had a troubled home life. She has cuts on her arm and they are plain as day. I want to ask her if she needs someone to talk to outside of work because she has also mentioned she doesn’t have many friends. I dont want to overstep my boundaries or make things awkward. Should I just mind my own business and act like the cuts aren’t there?

[c=#7700B2]speaking of something who used to self harm herself, I would say don't just bring that type of thing up randomly. if she hasn't talked about it, that means she doesn't want to and you bringing it up will just push her away[/c]

[c=#7700B2]I have a ton of experience with this.. only difference though is her friend doesn't sound like she is hiding her cuts.. I hid mine at all times[/c]

@PlumBerries im srry that becomes a part of so many peoples lives.
Group therapy is a good suggestion for anyone... But there's no telling how a person will react. It's your call. Nice of you to consider her.
