You can cure them of it. Wear rubber gloves the next time you dine with them and when they chew open-mouthed, scoop the food out of their mouth and throw it on the floor. Repeat as needed till they get it.

I was sitting alone in one room in the break away area, then in comes this lady, sits next to me and starts making those awful chewing sounds 😖...

I immediately got up and walked out.
