Do happily ever after really happens?will ever be happy ending to ones life?

Its always struck me as a contradiction in terms. Maybe the best we can hope for is a peaceful slipping away.

define happy ending.

Happily ever after only exist in stories because the story ends when the lovers get together. But reality life goes on and happiness is not something that is achieved one time and stays forever it comes and goes.. life throws us shit and happy moments at different times.
Reality is more interesting then the happily ever after bullshit. Besides moves,novels fair tales only have one goal- we have other aspects i our lives besides our SO
