Why do people assume chatting is to hook up only 😡

good luck finding a woman to chat with. frustrating when they are on guard and say so very little. they assume from the get go I am a bad person.
seems really bad to say what I think. God forbid. especially when others are suppose to say what they want to hear. not open to hearing different ideas/opinions. but they'll scapegoat others for being too open. maybe best to be closed just like she is ..... but then I never talk to anyone .... bad idea! lol

@cycleman I'm very open with people who seem to genuinely want to chat. But, some just message, and ask questions. If I ask a question, it's ignored and they ask another. I've asked a couple, "What is this, an interrogation? Am I being investigated?" They usually don't bother with another message.
