You have it all wrong my friend.. There is no point as such.. There is the Darwinian imperative of producing and raising the next generation if you want a point.. But we already know the destination in life.. What its really about is the journey. How you travel, who you talk to, The stops you get off at and the sights you see. Don't waste time.. You never get it back.
