If you had the chance to get back at someone, would you do it?

Let's say that this is a horrible person who's caused you and a few other people in your life a great amount of pain. If you had the chance to get back at them twice as hard, would you go for it? Believe me, I already have my answer for this situation in particular, but I still want to see what others have to say.
