You definitely don't need makeup to be "beautiful"
but there's also nothing wrong with using it as long as it's not something you depend on to love yourself.

I’ve had to wear it a few times for various reasons (acting or because I was a kid and my sister wanted to put it on me). I didn’t particularly like it. I wouldn’t want to force someone to do that or feel that I required it. Nowadays I like women that don’t wear makeup, I really don’t like the smell, but when it is done for a special occasion it can make the evening more exciting so I’m not against it. It can be attractive when a woman has that confidence that they know they are exceptionally done up nicely.
