What do you think is the worst part about being the gender you are?

@katielass What is the worst then, after period days are over?

@SW-User I think being vulnerable. Not mentally or emotionally but physically. Knowing you could easily be overpowered.

@katielass Yeah that is a genuine worry.

@SW-User You might not remember this but after 9/11 this site didn't exist and we used to interact on AOL message boards. Well, there were a lot of men who were like omg what do we do, how will we live with this fear. I pointed out that women have been living in fear for thousands of years. They can do what we've been doing, watch your surroundings and use your brain. Really!

@katielass Yeah I wasn't even on social media back then.

@SW-User That was all we had back then. But jeez, I can remember rotary dial phones so I'm almost prehistoric. lol

@katielass 😂 I was talking to my nephew some time ago and he saw a picture of the rotary phones and he asked me what that was. I was quite taken back... and it came to me, those things have been gone for so long, the new generation have no idea of its existence. Lol.

@SW-User That's true. When I retired from nursing I went to work at an insurance company for a few years and the young kids on my team loved to ask me how things were in the olden days. lol It started with do you actually remember when JFK was killed and I said yes. They freaked when I told them we had one phone in the house and it was in the hallway and everyone could hear everything you said. No privacy.

@katielass LOL. Quite amazing really, how much change we've had.

@SW-User yes, I've seen so much in my lifetime and you think things can't change that much ever again but I'm guessing it can. I just can't imagine it.
