other women not wanting kids?

I never want to have children and yes I know people always say your 23 your still young. I never liked children as a kid I did not play family, I still do not like or want children. I hate how much pressure there is from my family and anyone who meets me to have children. I keep telling them i do not want any, its not a legal requirement to have children. I hate when people say you will change your mind.the thing that really hurts me is that my parents say your takeing away my ability to be a grandparent and continue our bloodline. I do not want to hurt my parents but if i have a child i will be hurting the child because i would be a bad parent. you should not have children unless you really want children. Anyone elce feel like they never want to have children?

I have them, even though I tried everything to prevent it lol. I'm not naturally maternal but I've learned over time to be a better mother. Nobody should be forced or made to feel bad for their choices, it's your life.

@ZenKitzune yea I hear that often from people that they learn to become maternal and become a better person because of their children, but my mom talks to some women who had children through accidental pregnancy and regretted it. I wish I did not feel bad for the choice of not having kids but its eating away at my conscious.

@Girlyfriendcollecting I regretted it for the longest time but I was in a pretty bad place. The trouble with regret is that it can come and go throughout life and you can never be sure where it will pop up.

@ZenKitzune yea you never know what your life would have been like without children, I often think do I regret the college i picked or not and i can not decide because i do not know what it would have been like if i didn't go to college.v
