Call me silly, if this thought makes me silly, but if 25ish people are leaving about the same place, to drive to the exact same place 25ish miles

away, it would be silly for them to take 25ish separate cars.

Exactly, and if people lived where they work, or worked where they live, there would be far less traffic!
