Do you need to be sad to sing songs of heartbreak?

What if you just like the way your voice sounds singing it?

There's something beautiful about sorrow, in music it's beautiful because of its raw authenticity. Sharing someone's most intimate life experiences in a few minutes time.

Seeing sorrow in people is powerful because in that moment you are able see through every guise that the person wore & you finally see them, you see who they really are & their uninhibited beauty.

I don't sing songs just because I'm feeling a certain way, but often to hear a story, or to feel someone's thoughts & emotions as they share them, in a powerful way.
