Many trials. Many errors. Many lessons learned.
Wraithorn · 56-60, M
I'll guess and say that possibly it's a combination of things like experience, an ability to see the big picture and to see things from other people's point of view. I also think that being humble and willing to admit fault helps.

Examples : the Dalai lama and Nelson Mandela.

Learning from their mistakes 🤔
4meAndyou · F
Those who are wise have learned things through hard experience and observation. It is not an easy process. The wisest of the wise seldom speak...because that is the greatest wisdom.

Hardship, perseverance and analytical thinking.
SW-User
@UndeadPrivateer So, all logic based. No place for emotions?
UndeadPrivateer · 31-35, M
@SW-User It wouldn't be very wise to throw emotions out of the analysis, they're pretty key to human experience. But it is important to be able to look beyond them. Feel the pain, recognize its source but don't let it blind you.
SW-User
@UndeadPrivateer Thank you. Well said. :)

SpaceAce · 31-35, M
To be wise is to be seen as wise, but it is not wise to be seen as wise.
SW-User
@SpaceAce How others see you is out of your hands but what is not wise is to see yourself as wise.
DancingShadows09 · 31-35, F
