What are your inner demons and how do you battle them?

And we all face something, even the most well-rounded, contented people have a part of themselves that they either suppress or, at the very least, would like to change. What's yours? How do you cope with it?

I deal with jealousy. Not the kind dealing with friends or possessions but the romantic kind, which is pretty unromantic. And it's the irrational kind, where he hasn't done a thing but I feel a niggling urge to check his phone. I don't anymore, I've gotten good at reminding myself that searching for trouble never makes you happy and you usually find what you're looking for but it does take a second of willful control.

I also turn into a werewolf and murder people when I'm having PMS and am still in a place where I don't want to take drugs for it, so I TRY very hard to be self aware. Emphasis on the TRY lol

Personally, I am trying to deal with being and getting healthier which is a struggle when you get older. I am stuck in my ways and reluctant to change lol. The only thing I can say is try to think of the repercussions of your actions before you do anything. Hope that helps.

@Wish2ReliveThe70s I actually understand this. I have a soda problem and a coffee problem. My weight has never been a problem but I have some stomach issues that make eating unpleasant a lot of the time, but I know that the fact that I don't like drinking water is terrible for me. My kidneys are "older" than I am because of this.

And this is just drinking more water! I hate it, i really do, but I have had to learn to do it on a schedule or I wont.

@Angelfire21 I felt the same way as you. I only drank water to swallow pills. Now all I drink is water. In fact I crave it sometimes, I always have it with me. Switching to water should help you feel better and improve your kidney functions. Just force yourself to drink it like I did. Soon you will love it. Good luck, you can do it.
