Intelligence these days is overrated, many students come out of university that are thick as two bricks, many people are street smart can be wiser than we will ever realise

I think that intelligence is shown through the ability to wield both thoughts and emotions. It maybe hard to control both equally, but if one or the other is seen as inferior and is ignored completely/barely used, it will show through inappropriate actions and reactions to things.
