A thought to consider as I head off to sleep

Would you turn a cheek to those in need of a place to sleep or need food for the night
I have not forgotten this moment for I leave a light on for those looking for rest and the door is left open and may you remember this for those less fortunate in your time of need.

PS .. Flush the toilet when you leave the bathroom.

I have made it clear to all of my children's friends-- my home is a safe house. If they ever need a place to go, if they are in trouble, they can come to my house and be treated as if they were one of my own.

Everyone deserves the common courtesy of respect and keeping their dignity.

@GwydionFrost That's very cool. My and sibs' friends knew they were welcome in our parents' home if they needed help, too.

@bijouxbroussard As they get older, that offer is going to include a retrieval service, just in case they find themselves in an uncomfortable situation and no good way out.

@SW-User It's not even a parent thing. It's just letting people who might have no where else that they feel they can turn to... have that safe place! I'd offer it to adults, too... but the kids are in more jeopardy in these cases.
