Is it easier to hate thoughts at an earlier age or a more experienced age?

ethereal · F
At more experienced age. coz only with experience we realize how the thoughts are the cause of our suffering. At a younger age, we usually are not even aware of thoughts or how mind keeps going on n on.
hate to me when I was younger was really quite basic and innocent. My hate now is deep and it burrns. So, at a more experienced age I wold say.

I must be missing something. Do you mean to have hateful thoughts, or to hate the thoughts you're having, or something else all together?

@Serenitree The responses appear to aim at the older crowd ...

@MikefromEP I guess this is why I was uncertain.

I have had hateful thoughts about people who have caused my loved ones sorrows. But I have never hated thoughts.

I dwell in my mind. I love letting my mind wander and thinking is a favourite pastime.

I think as we get older, it is easier to fall into the trap of hatred toward others because we've been hurt more and we're tired of it. However, I think as we mature, which is not necessarily automatic with age, we realize that hatred hurts ourselves the most and keeps us in bondage. Therefore, if we are wise, we choose to forgive and love instead.

Your own thoughts?

@LilMonkey78 Is that not what I asked?

Oh sorry I wasn't sure. I think it just depends on your circumstance, and experience. I hated myself and every thought I had a decade ago. Now I'm much happier with myself and who I am. In my case I would say younger.

I guess when we older as we've had more time to think. Sometimes it's tiring
Age seems not being the most important parameter.
I think hatred is more complicated when one is older and understands other people's foibles a little better.
