is self-hate at all useful as a tool for self-improvement, or is it beside the point?

When people want to self-improve generally getting away if self hate is a requirement, so I'd say no.
Fernie · F
there is nothing useful on any level about self hatred
Self love is a much better tool. Self hate is such a downer.

therefore: self-hate is beside the point when it comes to self-improvement, provided one loves oneself?
@oneperson Look, you asked and I answered. If you disagree, that's you.

I don't care, I'm just trying to get a straight answer out of you

No, any exaggeration can't really lead to good. Measure is the answer.
oneperson · 31-35, M
@HannibalAteMeOut I'm not sure I understand

@oneperson Hatred is a strong feeling that usually leads to excessive actions. So self-hatred couldn't make someone improve, but destroy themselves. Moderation, self-control or in general, measure, is much better than hyperbolic emotions/reactions.

I see
self-compassion cuz no one else can do it better

@SoulKey so it's beside the point?
