How do you stop feeling frustrated?

It could be a lack of sleep, or lack of pleasure, but sometimes when I'm at work, I get frustrated by this judgemental voice in my head that says things ought to be a different way.

Even though I know absolutes are unreasonable in most cases, I find it hard to shift out of that mode and make light of things. Eventually I get there, but I don't like having angry thoughts, and a clutching feeling in my core.
Anyone else experience that? Does it ever subside?

Sleep helps...if you get to the reason why sleep helps, you might also find solution to your problem.

@Unlearn oooh good idea. Sleep has helped me so much for the better the past few years. I've never thought of it like you're saying. New mystery...

@Unlearn Sleep somehow unravels the ball of bullsh** that is my mind... Good suggestion!

Yup, hence my new matra. Is good enough. I try to use it often when I am unsure about something.

I have the same issue, I have observed that doing strenous tasks and being busy in general works often
