@SW-User empathy is simply the ability to understand and share the feelings of another. How can you get caught up in someone's delusions by being empathetic...it's not an action

I think that empathy is never a bad thing. However, as an empath, I know that I sometimes have a hard time not taking on the weight of the world personally. It CAN lead me to feeling overwhelmed and helpless if I'm not careful. It's not the empathy that's bad though. It's lack of control over my own thoughts and emotions.
